Authorities say seven people were shot when a man’s gun went off in his pocket at a family dance.
Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez says the bullet appeared to exit the man’s leg, then ricochet and strike 6 other people. Most were treated for minor wounds and none of the injuries were critical.
Police believe there may have been a second bullet and suspect the man may have been drinking. The family dance party was being held in a Houston flea market Sunday night. Jose Manuel Guerrero-Reyes, 25, is charged with one count of felony aggravated assault.
