There was a terror-related incident Sunday in London when a man stabbed two people and was killed by police. The suspect also appeared to be wearing explosives, but it turned out to be a “hoax device.” Thankfully, the victims survived.
While all of that was going down, police tried to evacuate everyone from a nearby cafe because of the bomb threat. But staff at one cafe insisted that customers be allowed to stay for 30-minutes to finish eating.
Police: “Sorry guys. You need to close. We need to evacuate – there’s been a terror incident just down the street.”
Cafe staff: “Just give us half an hour because people have to eat.”
