The LSU Tigers football team celebrated their National Championship victory with style on Monday night, but it was not without a little bit of controversy. According to AL.com, one officer reminded players that anyone caught smoking inside was subject to arrest. Another officer intervened and said it was OK for the locker room, but the commanding officer insisted that the players could not smoke.
No one was arrested and it seems the players were allowed to have a little puff anyways.
Coach Orgeron even told Joe Burrow to “Take it easy on that cigar, boy” during the post-game press conference.
