New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara is headed to the Pro Bowl, the team announced on Thursday afternoon, becoming the 11th Saints player either originally named to the team or added on later for various reasons.
Kamara finished the 2019 campaign with 171 carries for 797 yards rushing with five rushing touchdowns and 81 receptions for 533 yards receiving with one receiving touchdown.
Kamara, now a three-time Pro Bowler, is replacing Carolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey, who bowed out due to injury.
The Pro Bowl will be held Sunday, Jan. 26, at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.
Kamara is the first Saint to be named to the Pro Bowl in each of his first three NFL seasons and only the third Saint to be named in each of his first three years with the franchise.
