KISS created a special shirt for their tour stop in Cincinnati but misspelled the city’s name by doubling the ‘T’ at the end. Oops!
KISS played their ‘End of the Road Tour’ in Cincinnati this past Thursday, and they were selling special, commemorative shirts with the city’s name on the back, in ‘big’ letters. But there was just one ‘little’ problem, an extra ‘T’.
Do we all agree that Cincinnati is a tough city to spell? Many people are confused over which of the last two consonants get doubled, the ‘N’ or the ‘T’.
Whoever designed the shirts doubled down on both the ’T’ and the ’N’.
The shirt costs $50, and may now be a collector’s item because a t-shirt made its way onto eBay for $400, and it already has a bid.
