A man from Friendly, West Virginia is suing Walmart, alleging that he was injured with the automatic door closed on him.
We’ve always wondered, but apparently, it is possible for automatic doors at supermarkets to close on you. At least, according to James Gorrell of West Virginia, who says his arm was crushed when an automatic door at Walmart opened and closed on his right arm. Gorrell claims the doors remained closed on his arm until management pried them open.
Gorrell is also suing Stanley Access Technologies, who service and maintain the automatic doors.
