I was working “out of town” and in a long meeting and my phone was on silent. When I got out of the meeting, I had multiple missed calls from both of my kids.
I completely panicked.
There were no messages, just missed calls.
They both were calling to tell me Michael Jackson died.
The same day, Charlie’s Angels star (and iconic poster model) Farrah Fawcett also passed away. The news coverage on Jackson’s death was wall to wall with only a passing mention of Fawcett.
We’ve always heard that celebrities die in pairs or groups of three and there have been many days like this one 10 years ago where multiple celebrities passed away on the same day…
Jim Hensen and Sammy Davis, Jr both died May 16, 1990.
April 21, 2016 was the day both Prince and Chyna died.
