Phil Mickelson’s US Open Mini Golf Move

PHIL MICKELSON committed an EGREGIOUS breach of etiquette on Saturday at the U.S. Open.

His putt on the 13th green missed wide right, and started rolling downhill, so he ran over, and hit the ball back toward the hole while it was still moving, then he missed again.

This is not uncommon in mini-golf with friends who let you get away with it,but in REAL golf, you get in trouble.

The error gave him a two-stroke penalty and he actually took a 10 on the Par 4 hole. Mickelson admitted he decided to take the penalty, because if he hadn’t stopped it, it would have been worse.  Many in the golf world say he should be disqualified.
