L.S.U. Great Billy Cannon Passes Away At The Age of 80

College football fans are mourning the passing of LSU legend Billy Cannon. Cannon’s amazing career at LSU included winning the Heisman Trophy in 1959 and being named a two-time unanimous All-American.

Billy Cannon passed away peacefully in his home early Sunday morning. He was 80 years old. The entire #LSU family mourns with the Cannons and his loved ones. He will never be forgotten. #20 pic.twitter.com/pCcCbPTmEG

Cannon helped the Tigers to the 1958 national championship and remained very involved in the LSU community until his unfortunate passing Sunday Morning (5/20/2018)at the age of 80.
