We set the clocks ahead on Sunday, which means you lose an hour of sleep. Are you a fan of the longer days and more sunlight?
A new survey from PEMCO, asked people how long it takes them to adjust to the time change.
-
24% of people who say they adjust right away with no issues
-
21% of people say it takes three to five days
-
19% say it takes one day
-
16% say it takes two days
-
17% of us, it takes a week or more
The survey also found 63% of people would be ok getting rid of the time changes and just keeping things the same all year long.
Another survey from VOX, also found a few ways that the time change can affect us.
1. One study found that on Mondays after the time springs forward, hospitals see a 25% increase in heart attacks.
