Tuna was born in the shallow end of the gene pool and grew up on the Westbank of New Orleans. So yes, I will axe you “How’s Ya Mom an Dem?” and I do know how “To Make Groceries”. I graduated from Archbishop Shaw High School and migrated West to Lafayette. I attended, for a few years I played Tuba for the Pride of Acadiana and graduated (which still amazes me) from The University of Louisiana in Broadcast Journalism.
Radio was something I knew I wanted to do when I was a child with my transistor radio under my pillow listening to all the great tunes I grew up with. Luckily, I have been in this business since 1990 and still love every minute of it. I am thankful to be able to do what I do and you listen. The last few years I have been honored to be a Public Address Announcer for Ragin’ Cajuns sporting events.
My hobbies include rooting on the Ragin’ Cajuns and the Saints, love to play Trivia, Bowling, Cooking and spending time with Family & Friends.
“Do right. Do your best. Treat others as you want to be treated.”
Thank you and Laissez Le Bon Temps Rouler–Tuna
