Mary Anne says, I would like to nominate Assistant Chief of Police Ted Kahn of Delcambre Police Department. I have known Officer Kahn for many years of his law enforcement career. Ted is a kind, down to earth man, always willing to help, and has helped me several times. He is a true man of his word and of his oath to his duties as a law enforcement officer. He strives for improvement and making a difference. Since his year in Delcambre, he has definitely made changes, improvements, and a difference in the town. Assistant Chief Kahn has instituted patrol techniques and parameters necessary to the the town, as well as taking over and clearing several cold cases. He has held, as always, a respectable, respectful interaction with the people. He is a man who takes his oath to protect and serve very seriously.
