Players and coaches who participated in the SLYSI baseball/softball programs during the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s can attend a reunion scheduled for November 7, 2020 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Neyland Park Baseball Complex, weather permitting. This event is an opportunity to reunite with former teammates and coaches to reminisce about old times and renew old friendships.

Food and drinks will be available at no cost. There will be a short presentation about the current status of SLYSI and Lafayette Parish Recreation along with displays of memorabilia and other items of interest.

Citizens who wish to attend must RSVP to Ron Robicheaux by Wednesday, November 4 by emailing ronrobe@lusfiber.net (include your name, email address, home address, cell phone number, years participated along with special accomplishments or comments).

If you have items for display, please contact Ron Robicheaux at 337-298-1019 to arrange for delivery in order to avoid reproduction time, costs, etc. Items will be returned at the end of the event. You can use the same number and email address to submit questions regarding the event or to share any ideas for incorporation. All ideas will be considered but not necessarily adopted.
