SUMMARY:Rice City Players Present Putnam County Spelling Bee
DESCRIPTION:March 19–22 Rice City Players present the hilarious\, heartfelt chaos of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee to the Grand Opera House stage!\n\n\nPerformances: March 19–22\, 2026\n\n\nSix quirky “middle schoolers” compete for the spelling championship of a lifetime\, overseen by three equally quirky adults. As the contestants spell their way through increasingly challenging (and often ridiculous) words\, they reveal hilarious insecurities\, unexpected talents\, and tender moments of growing up. Audience volunteers may even find themselves pulled into the action!\n\n\nA charming mix of improv\, heart\, and side-splitting comedy\, Spelling Bee is a celebration of individuality\, resilience\, and the joy of being unapologetically yourself.\n\n\nAppropriate for ages 12 and up. Some mild adult language and humor.
