SUMMARY:Big Draft Launch Party
DESCRIPTION:In collaboration with the NFL’s Inspire Change initiative\, Big Brothers Big Sisters is launching The Big Draft\, our annual volunteer recruitment campaign designed to inspire more adults—particularly men and men of color—to step up as Bigs (mentors). This campaign elevates the urgent need for more volunteers so that every young person waiting for a mentor can be matched with someone who believes in them. \nJust as the NFL drafts its next class of players\, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Acadiana is drafting its next class of Bigs. This year\, our ambitious goal is to secure 60 Bigs in 60 Days. By generating awareness and mobilizing our community\, we aim to bring in the volunteers needed to support the youth on our waiting list—especially boys who have been waiting the longest.
