Lafayette Consolidated Government (LCG)’s Awareness Committee for Citizens with Disabilities is accepting nominations for the 2026 Disability Awareness Awards Ceremony, which will take place on October 19, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. at the Heymann Performing Arts Center. This annual event, hosted by the Mayor-President’s Awareness Committee for Citizens with Disabilities, celebrates individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to enhancing the lives of those living with disabilities in our community.
