Lafayette Mini Maker Faire

Celebrate the maker movement with us at the Lafayette Science Museum. The Lafayette Mini Maker Faire is a gathering of fascinating, curious people who enjoy sharing what they can do. You can get inspired by hanging out with craftspeople, tech enthusiasts, gardeners, and quilters.

History of Lafayette Mini Maker Faire:
Maker Faire originated in the San Francisco Bay area in 2006 as a project of Make: magazine. It has since grown into a significant worldwide network of maker events.

The Lafayette Mini Maker Faire is presented by the Lafayette Public Library and the Lafayette Science Museum. All ages welcome. It returns for a 2nd year as a venue for makers to show hobbies, experiments, and projects to the local community. People can apply to be a maker, a volunteer, or simply come out to enjoy this free event.
