Goldman Sachs Calls Employees Back to the Office

Goldman Sachs has announced it’s requiring its employees to return to its Manhattan offices by mid-June.

Moreover, the company is asking other U.S. employers to do the same by June 14th.

“We are focused on progressing on our journey to gradually bring our people back together again, where it is safe to do so, and are now in a position to activate the next steps in our return to office strategy,” says CEO David Solomon.

Similarly, Goldman Sachs officials in the U.K. are asking workers to return by June 21st.

The move comes about a week after JPMorgan Chase officials announced they’re reopening the company’s office on May 17th, subject to a 50 percent capacity cap. Company officials say they expect their offices to be fully staffed by early July.
