FDA Approves New ADHD Drug, First In 10 Years

For the first time in a decade, the FDA has approved a new drug to treat ADHD in children.

The drug, called Qelbree, is a daily capsule that is less prone to abuse because it doesn’t contain stimulants found in other ADHD meds like Ritalin.

Qelbree is meant for children ages 6 to 17 and can reduce hyperactivity by up to 50%.
