Food Network star, Ree Drummond, is sharing some behind the scenes footage via Instagram of her show “The Pioneer Woman”.
In the most recent video, you can see Drummond trying to cook in her kitchen while filming when an uninvited guest showed up, which was a rat. You can hear screams from the crew and the squeak from the rat as it scurries across her kitchen. Drummond says they were able to get the furry guest safely outside.
Drummond posted on Instagram:
“I consider myself a trailblazer on Food Network. After all, I think I’m the only host on the network that’s had a large pack rat run through the kitchen in the middle of filming a cooking show. The (very) unwelcome visitor interrupted shooting, and the screams (not just mine—right, Mauricio?) were plentiful. You’ll see the full saga (including what ultimately happened to Mr. Rat) on The Pioneer Woman this Saturday morning at 10am/9c…but you can watch this short clip to get a sneak peek. “
