Hank Aaron Dead at 86

Atlanta Braves and baseball legend, “Hammerin’ Hank” Aaron has died at the age of 86.

 
 

The news was confirmed by Aaron’s daughter.  His career spanned from 1952 to 1976 where Aaron became a 25-time All-Star, World Series Champion, NL MVP, 3 time Golden Glove Winner, 2-time NL Batting Champion, 4-time NL Home Run Leader, 4-time NL RBI Leader, Atlanta Braves Hall of Famer, American Family Field Walk of Famer, and a member of the Major League Baseball All-Century Team.  The Sporting News ranked Hank Aaron 5th on its “100 Greatest Baseball Players List”.
