New Orleans will now host the 2025 Super Bowl to avoid conflict with Mardi Gras.
The city was originally scheduled to host the Super Bowl in 2024, but that would have fallen on the same day as the popular Bacchus Mardi Gras Parade. The move was approved by the 32 NFL teams and the new host city for the 2024 Super Bowl will be determined at a later date.
