According to Deadline, another “Lion King” movie is set.
The movie will be a follow-up of the 2019 CGI version of “The Lion King,” and will feature flashbacks to the past, including Mufasa’s origin story. The movie will again use the photo-realistic technology that director Jon Favreau used in the 2019 film.
There’s been no word on casting or a possible release date.
