The Carencro Fire Department says one of their firefighters has lost his own home in a fire.
Thankfully, the family was not home at the time of the fire on the afternoon of Saturday, July 4. However, the family still lost everything.
A GoFundMe has been set up for Firefighter Dayne Leger and his family. Also, items can be dropped off at both fire stations on University and Hector Connoly.
