Bridge in Arizona Collapses After Train Derailment

A bridge over a lake in Arizona collapsed after a freight train derailed and caught fire on Wednesday.

 
 

According to authorities, the incident happened just before 6:30 am local tie in Tempe, Arizona.  The Tempe Police Department advised residents to avoid the area after a train derailed and erupted into a large fire over Tempe Town Lake.  Officians say some of the train cars were carrying lumber.

 
 

Later, the bridge partially collapsed.  According to FOX10 in Phoenix, no injuries were reported at time of publication.
