Legendary Miami Dolphins Head Coach, Don Shula Dead at 90

The legendary NFL head coach that led the ’72 Miami Dolphins to an undefeated Super Bowl season, Don Shula has died at the age of 90.

 
 

Shula led the Miami Dolphins to a pair of Super Bowl titles, including the historic unbeaten 1972 season, making the Dolphins the only team in NFL history to finish a season undefeated.  One of the greatest NFL coaches of all time, Shula began his career with the Baltimore Colts in 1963.  He coached the Dolphins for 26 seasons beginning in 1970.  In 33 years as a head coach, Shula had only two losing seasons.
