West Feliciana Parish To Allow Restaurants, Churches, And Other Businesses To Reopen With Strict Guidelines

According to the website WFParish.org, West Feliciana Parish is taking steps to reopen the parish.

 
 

New Covid-19 guidelines are available for residents of the Parish on the website.

 
 

Notable inclusions in the plan include:

  1. Retail stores and restaurants workers are to wear recommended PPE at all times and maintain a maximum occupancy of 25% until further notice.

  2. Museums and libraries are to also maintain a maximum occupancy of 25%

  3. Churches and places of worship are allowed to open and are to follow all CDC social distancing guidelines.

 
 

There is a major emphasis on persons with underlying medical conditions and those over the age of 65 to continue to shelter at home.

 
 

The release, signed by Parish President Kenneth Havard, includes information on Covid-19 cases in the parish.  Of the 61 total cases reported by LDH, 49 are incarcerated and 12 are parish residents.
