According to reports from ESPN’S Chris Mortensen, the Carolina Panthers and Teddy Bridgewater are getting closer to a deal.
Mortensen reports that the contract is close to a 3-year, $60 million dollar deal. While the contract is not done yet it’s expected to be finalized by sometime Wednesday. The 27-year-old Bridgewater could be the replacement for 30-year-old Cam Newton.
The Panthers and Teddy Bridgewater are negotiating a 3-year contract in the $60 million range, per source. The deal is not done as they work out details but it is expected to be complete when new league year opens Wednesday.
