Price Gougers Stuck with Over 17 Thousand Bottles of Hand Sanitizer

Oh, karma, some times you are just too sweet!

Matt Colvin and his brother, Noah, from Hixson, Tennessee, set out to profit off of the panic over the spread of coronavirus.  Noah collected over 18,000 bottles of hand sanitizer and Matt tried to sell them on Amazon from anywhere between $8 – $70

After they sold about 300 bottles, Amazon noticed the extremely high markups.  It turns out those violated their seller policy against, quote, “pricing practices that harm customer trust,” so they kicked them off their site and now they’re stuck with 17,700 bottles of hand sanitizer.

Now that the state attorney general is investigating the two for price gouging, Matt’s suddenly found a conscience and says he’s, quote, “exploring ways to donate all the supplies.”
