Judd Lormand to be Grand Marshal Driver at NASCAR This Weekend

A native of Lafayette, you may know Judd Lormand from CBS’ SEAL Team.  This weekend, Judd will be driving the Grand Marshal car at Atlanta Motor Speedway for The Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500.

NASCAR will be honoring veterans and active military members and their families with festivities throughout the weekend.  Driver Austin Dillon and Lormand have been spending a little time together.  Dillon recently appeared on an episode of SEAL Team and the cast of SEAL Team got to hang out at the track.

On Saturday, Lormand will drive the pace car for EchoPark 250 Xfinity Series Race and on Sunday, he’ll be a part of Trackside Live! on the Fan Stage with Austin Dillon, before driving the Grand Marshal car for The Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500.

“I’m really looking forward to seeing Austin, and several of the other NASCAR personnel, and meeting a lot of the fans out there, of ‘SEAL Team’ and NASCAR,” Lormand said to PopCulture.com. “And I’m actually taking my kids to the race on Sunday, letting my kids join me on Sunday because they’ve never seen a race live. And so I’m really looking forward to that.”

The Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 is Sunday, March 15 on FOX at 2:00 p.m. ET.
