LCG: No Change to Residential Waste Collection on Mardi Gras Day

Residential garbage and recycling waste will be collected on Tuesday, February 25 for customers in Lafayette Parish whose regular collection day is Tuesday, Lafayette Consolidated Government announced.

Tuesday garbage and recycling customers should place their waste containers curbside on Monday evening for collection on Tuesday.

There will be no changes to the residential garbage and recycling collection schedules the entire week of Mardi Gras for customers in the City of Lafayette and unincorporated areas of Lafayette Parish who are served by Republic Services.

The Lafayette Consolidated Government Compost Facility at 400 Dugas Rd., located off of N. University Ave., will be closed on Mardi Gras day, and will re-open Wednesday, February 26 at 7 a.m.
