Philadelphia Flyers mascot “Gritty” is under investigation for assault.
It’s being alleged that the mascot punched a kid during a photoshoot. The father of the kid says the 13-year-old “playfully patted” Gritty on the head before the mascot stood up and punched the kid in the back.
The hockey team says they’ve investigated and the person in the Gritty costume has denied everything. Philadelphia police are still investigating.
