Final Full Moon of the Decade is at 12:12 on 12/12

According to the Farmer’s Almanac the number 12 has special significance. There are 12 months in the year, and our days are divided in two 12 hour segments. Numerologists consider the number 12 to signify completion, perfection and harmony.

Just after midnight, look into the sky for the last of the year and the decade. By the way, this full moon is called the “Cold Moon” or “Long Night’s Moon” as it unofficially ushers in the Winter season.

 


 

Other tidbits about the number 12 include: only 12 people have walked on the moon and there are 12 days of Christmas.
