Saints Offensive Lineman To Miss Atlanta Game

With a 9-2 record The New Orleans Saints are enjoying another great season, but not without injuries.  Terron Armstead left Sunday’s victory with an ankle injury and the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport Tweets that he is dealing with a high-ankle sprain. Armstead will be out Thursday night in Atlanta and likely more.

There’s already a man down in the o-line trenches on the left side with Andrus Peat out. Free agent acquisition Nick Easton has taken over the left guard role the past 2 games. Patrick Omameh filled in at left tackle during Sunday’s win over Carolina.

Short week has the Saints spending Thanksgiving with the Falcons who are are 3-8 and coming off a home loss to Tampa. If the Black & Gold can get a win in Atlanta, they will secure the title of 2019 NFC South champions.
