A teacher at Leland High School in Mississippi is no longer employed with the school district after allegedly paying students $25 to have a ‘twerking’ competition during chemistry class.
According to DeltaNews.TV, videos of the competition spread through social media and the teacher could be seen jumping up on desks and encouraging the students. The school board Superintendent, Jesse King, said,
“This was a personnel issue and was handled according to the Mississippi code of ethics.”
