Check out this video of a guy robbing a motel in Kentucky. He holds up the clerk at gunpoint and demands that she gives him cash, all the while, being extremely careless with the gun. At some points, the robber literally points the gun at himself.
Once the clerk gives him the money, he puts the gun down on the counter. After a bit of hesitation, the clerk grabs it! The robber leaves, but returns and begs for the gun, but the clerk points it at him and he bails out again. Watch the security footage:
