It’s Friday the 13th Along With A Full Moon Friday

Happy Friday the 13th and Happy Full Moon Friday!! If you looked up to the sky last night, did you see the full moon?  According to NASA, the moon will appear full through Sunday morning, and this will not happen on Friday the 13th again until 2049.

The event is also known as a “harvest” moon, which gives farmers extra evening light to harvest and bring in crops.   The last time this event happened was October 2000, and as mentioned above will not happen again until August 2049.

If you are looking for the perfect time to gaze at the full moon,  it’s officially at 11:33 pm tonight.

When it comes to Friday the 13th, you have to talk about ‘superstitions.’ According to a new survey almost 1/3 of Americans admitted they are superstitious, including 9% who said they’re very superstitious.  66% claimed they’re either “not very superstitious” or “not superstitious at all.”
