James South, a World War Two veteran in Texas is going viral after he made a sign asking for 100 cards for his 100th birthday.
James’ late wife is one of the reasons he is asking for the cards because, during the war, she sent him a letter every single day he was gone.
James lives in a retirement home near Dallas, the Brookdale facility in Watauga, Tx to be exact.Mr. South would love to decorate his room with all of the cards.
The couple was married 55 years until she passed away back in 2001. James lived on his own until two years ago, when he finally moved into the Brookdale retirement facility at 98.
