Guy Tried to Escape Jail Disguised as His Daughter

42-year-old Clauvino da Silva is serving a 73-year prison term for drug trafficking in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Da Silva attempted to escape with an annual plan.  Apparently, he had his 19-year-old daughter visit him and he disguised himself as her and tried to leave.  The disguise included a black bra, a pink shirt with donuts, skinny jeans, a black wig, glasses and a silicone mask on his face.  The appearance was a little off and the mask probably could have benefited from some makeup.  Da Silva was also acting nervously and ultimately tipped off the guards.

A video of the unmasking has been uploaded to the internet and has gone viral.

Da Silva has been transferred to a maximum-security prison.  The most peculiar part of the plan is that it seems his daughter was going to stay behind in jail has he escaped… so, Da Silva would have been sacrificing his 19-year-old daughter to decades in prison so he could escape.  She may be facing charges, too.
