The latest announcement in the seemingly never-ending series of reboots, Disney is planning on rebooting the “Home Alone” franchise.
The original franchise was a massive success in the 1990s, skyrocketing child actor, Macaulay Culkin, into stardom. Some fans on Twitter have suggested having Culkin return as a father and continuing the series, but Disney head, Bob Iger said the movie would be “re-imagined for a new generation.”
The movie will be released on Disney’s new streaming platform, Disney+, which will launch in November 2019.
