U.S. Women’s Soccer Team Wins Second Straight World Cup Title

The U.S. defeated the Netherlands on Sunday to win its second consecutive Women’s World Cup championship.  The win also brings The United States it’s fourth overall championship.

The U.S. defeated the Netherlands, 2-0, behind goals from Megan Rapinoe and Rose Lavelle.

Megan Rapinoe scored on a penalty kick in the 61st minute and Rose Lavelle scored in the 69th minute.
