Town of Lake Arthur – LOOSE SAND ONLY is available at the Lake Arthur Community Center, located at 701 8th St., Lake Arthur, and BAGS are available at the Lake Arthur Police Station, located at 102 Arthur Ave., also in Lake Arthur.
Town of Welsh – SAND ONLY is available at Light and Water Plant, located at 700 E. South St., Welsh. BAGS ARE NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS LOCATION.

LAFAYETTE PARISH

These sites are self-bagging, meaning the bags of sand are provided to Lafayette residents free of charge, but residents will need to provide their own manpower and a shovel. Residents are asked to limit the amount of bags to 4-per exterior door with a maximum of 20-bags per household.
Broussard – Behind Broussard City Hall – 310 E. Main St.~Deer Meadow Subdivision – corner of Deer Meadow Blvd. and Myette Point St.~Broadview Dr. – by the Broussard Community Center.
These sandbag stations are self-bagging and are open until the threat of a heavy rain has passed. While the sand and sandbags are a free service, residents will need to supply their own shovel.
ST. LANDRY PARISH
Residents are asked to bring their own shovel and to fill their own bags. Locations open Wednesday, July 10 – Friday, July 12 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
District #6 Public Works District – 18637 Hwy 190 in Port Barre open Wednesday, July 10, 2019 to Friday, July 12, 2019 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Sunset – 136 Castille St open Wednesday, July 10, 2019 to Friday, July 12, 2019 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Krotz Springs: Krotz Springs Maintenance Building, 122 Second St.
The Town of Port Barre has sand and bags available for filling and pickup in Veteran’s Memorial Park behind the Town Hall. There is a 10 bag per household limit. For the elderly and disabled in our community, you may pick up filled sandbags at the police department.
City of Opelousas will provide pre-filled sandbags to residents July 11 & 12 at the following locations:
• Opelousas Police Dept. 3128 N. Court St. Thur- Fri, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
• Opelousas Public Works (City Barn) 436 W Park Ave. Thur- Fri. 7:00 am to 4:00pm
Grand Coteau – Sand and bags are available near the police station Wednesday, July 10. Bring a shovel and be prepared to bag your own. If you can’t bag your own, call City Hall or any of the alderman and they will get it to you. For more information or if you need assistance during this time call City Hall 662-5246.
Cankton – Sand and bags will be available at the Cankton Water System Well Site located at 2613 Hwy 356 and Landon P. Memorial Park. These are fill you own sites and residents are asked to bring their own shovel and to fill their own bags.
Leonville- Sand and bags will be available at the Leonville Sewer Plant from 7am to 4 pm.
