Amidst contract negotiations, Saints Wide Receiver, Michael Thomas, may be holding out of the team’s training camp until a deal is reached.
Reports are that the Saints superstar wants to be the highest-paid receiver in the NFL at $20 million a year, but it seems the franchise has offered him slightly less. The team’s training camp begins on Friday and, according to reports, Thomas has not arrived.
The #Saints have reported and WR Michael Thomas has not arrived at the facility, sources tell me and @MikeGarafolo. He’s seeking a new deal and the two sides are not there yet. Until they get there, he’ll stay away.

Saints WR Michael Thomas, in search of a new deal, still has not reported to the team’s training facility, per source. No practice until Friday, but no Thomas today.
