The fire, believed to have been caused by a lightning strike, could burn until Wednesday evening as fire crews continue to battle the massive flames. Two buildings were on fire, but crews were able to put out the flames on the second warehouse.
About 45,000 barrels of aging bourbon is in the warehouse that is still burning. Jim Beam also produces Knob Creek, Basil Hayden’s and Booker’s bourbons.
