Curfews Around Acadiana Due To Tropical Storm Barry

Curfews have been established in Acadiana.

ACADIA PARISH:

  • Church Point City Wide curfew Friday 10 p.m. until 7 a.m. Sunday.

IBERIA PARISH:

  • Curfew for the City of New Iberia, starting Friday at 10pm till 6am and will also be in effect Saturday, at same time 10pm till 6am.

  • Delcambre 10 p.m. till 6 a.m. Friday and Saturday.

  • Jeanerette citywide curfew Friday and Saturday 10 p.m. till 6 a.m.

ST. LANDRY PARISH

  • All residents of the parish from Saturday at Noon through Sunday.

ST. MARTIN PARISH

  • Friday 10 p.m. – 7 a.m.

  • Saturday at dusk till Sunday at dawn.

ST. MARY PARISH:

  • Parish-wide curfew Friday and Saturday 10 p.m. until 6 a.m.

  • City of Morgan City curfew set for Friday 10 p.m. until Saturday 6 a.m. with the possibility of extension depending on weather conditions.

VERMILION PARISH:

  • Parish-wide curfew Friday 9 p.m. till 5 a.m. Saturday.

  • Kaplan has issued a MANDATORY curfew from 11 p.m. till 5 a.m. everyday until determined.

  • Gueydan will implement a curfew for Friday, July 12 to ensure safety for residents as Tropical Storm Barry makes landfall.  According to Mayor Jude Reese, the Town of Gueydan will have a curfew starting tonight, from the hours of 9pm-5am.

  • Curfew is in effect for Abbeville from 11:00 p.m. tonight until sunrise. This curfew will be in effect each night until the state of emergency has been cancelled.   Only emergency personnel will be allowed on the roadway.

  • Village of Maurice curfew Friday 9 p.m. till 5 a.m. Saturday. This curfew may be extended as needed.

  • City of Erath curfew Friday and Saturday 11 p.m. till 5 a.m.
