A 17-year postal veteran was gunned down while on his route Saturday in a Shreveport neighborhood. A 32-year-old Shreveport man was arrested Saturday night and charged with the slaying of the mailman.
Michael Gentry, of the 1100 block of Dudley Street, was charged with one count of second-degree murder of Antonio Williams. He was booked at the Shreveport City Jail following interviews with investigators, Gentry’s bond was set at $250,000. While returning to the scene on Saturday, Michael Gentry’s girlfriend was also booked and is now being held on drug charges.
