The Daily Advertiser has reported that legendary Blues and Zydeco guitarist, Lil Buck Sinegal, has died at the age of 75.
Paul Alton Sinegal was a Lafayette-native nicknamed “Lil Buck” for Buckwheat because of his height. Sinegal was a studio musician at Excello Records and joined Clifton Chenier‘s band in the late 1960’s. Sinegal founded The Cowboy Stew Blues Review with C.C. Adcock. He appeared in the 2015 documentary, “I Am The Blues.”
The Louisiana Blues Hall of Fame member passed away due to health complications at the age of 75.
