Meteorologist Refuses to Apologize for Severe Weather Split Screen During NBA Playoffs

Meteorologist at WSET in Lynchburg, Virginia, George Flickinger had a tornado warning broadcast which split screened with the NBA playoffs during a critical game 7.  The public was not thrilled and called in with some pretty critical comments.  Flickinger then responded, explaining why he chose to broadcast the warning.

Flickinger was actually fired from a station in Tulsa in 2006 for broadcasting wildfire warnings during an NFL game.
