LSU falls to Mississippi State 6-5 in the longest game in SEC Tournament history! The Tigers could not stop Mississippi State from scoring in the bottom of the 17th and fall to the loser’s bracket.
Many LSU fans took to Social Media with comments about the length of last night’s game! A game that lasted six hours, 43 minutes and the longest game in LSU baseball history.
The game also tied for the most innings in SEC Tournament history – Mississippi State vs. Missouri in 2013 and Arkansas vs. Auburn in 1994 also lasted 17 innings.
