Our dream for a second reality music show winner from Louisiana did not come true last night as Maelyn Jarmon was crowned winner of ‘The Voice‘ 2019. Gyth, this year’s runner up, had an excellent run this season winning over the hearts of viewers and judges alike.
Gyth was part of Team Blake Shelton, and Maelyn was a member of Team John Legend. As Carson Daly took the stage to announce this year’s winner, the first name announced was Dexter Roberts, also a member of Team Blake. Third runner up this year was also a member of Team Blake, Andrew Sevener. After those two names were announced, it only left Maelyn and Gyth on stage…with Maelyn Jarmon winning the title.
Congratulations to Gyth for doing Louisiana proud!
